Who Can Enter?

• All Studio Shed customers with a studio or ADU that has been 100% installed may enter our contest!
• If you have sent in photos or videos of your Studio Shed in the past, you may still enter our contest. However, you must submit NEW content that has not been previously shared with the Studio Shed team.

People's Choice Award:

• All contest entrants will be eligible for the People's Choice Award!
• Encourage your audience to vote for you by sharing your Studio Shed photo(s) in a public post on Instagram or Twitter between May 22 and May 30 with the hashtag #MyStudioShed2023 and a link to our public voting platform. The link to vote will be released May 22.

• The photo(s) & video(s) must be in their original state and cannot be altered in any way, including but not limited to removing, adding, reversing, or distorting subjects within the frame.
• Entries will not be accepted unless submitted via the official contest channel. Entries not submitted through the proper channel will be deleted.
• Entries will be judged by Studio Shed. All decisions are final. The Company reserves the right to disqualify any entry that is deemed inappropriate or does not conform to stated contest rules.
• By entering the contest, entrants agree that the photos & videos submitted can be used by Studio Shed for advertising and promotional purposes.
• Submissions will not be accepted once the deadline lapses.
• The prize must be collected by the winner and is non-transferable.
• The winner will be contacted via the email address provided during entry. If no response is received after [three] business days, a new winner will be selected and the previous winner will forfeit all rights to the prize.
• Violators will be removed from the contest, stripped of any prize(s), and banned from entering future contests.
• All photos & videos must be new to Studio Shed – meaning you may enter the contest even if you have submitted photos to Studio Shed in the past, however, to qualify for the contest you must submit new photos & videos we have never seen/posted before.

Photo & Video Guidelines:

• Raw images and footage only: no crops; no filters
• The highest resolution is required; no blurry images!
  • Photos: 2MB file size recommended
  • Videos: 720p or 1080x1080 recommended
• Original content only: all content must be owned by YOU! You may not submit professional photographs taken by someone else unless you have purchased/acquired the full rights to share/redistribute.
• Clear all content rights: when you clear rights, you verify that there’s no material in your production that is going to get you sued or prevent the distribution of your production.
• Multiple images & videos accepted per submission: you may submit as many photos as you would like with your entry (within reason).
  • We'd appreciate it if you did not exceed 5 photos & videos per submission.
• Eligibility: To be eligible for our contest, each Studio Shed owner may only enter ONE time. If you do decide to enter more than once, we will use the photo(s) from your first submission for judging.
• Accepted File Formats: .JPG .JPEG .HEIC .MOV .MP4

Photo Best Practices:

• Make sure the entire Studio Shed (or a majority of it) is in the frame
  • Horizontal photos work best for this, but vertical is fine as long as everything fits in the shot!
• Don’t zoom – it lowers the quality
• Clean up all trash, toys, or furniture/organize the space before taking photos
• Make sure iPhone/Android camera is in focus
  • Tip: when holding the camera up, point it at the shed and tap the screen in the middle of your Studio Shed – this will automatically focus your camera
  • This helps avoid blurry photos!
• Make sure your camera lens is clean
• Lighting is best when the sun is behind you (the photographer)

Two winners will be selected from this year's #MyStudioShed2023 photo & video contest!

Studio Shed Winner:

• Judging: the winner will be selected by a panel of judges from the Studio Shed team.

• Prize: Backyard Landscape Design by Tilly. The landscape design package valued at $629+ will include: a dedicated professional designer, a video call with your designer, and a custom, scaled plan of your new yard that includes hardscape and softscape layouts. The winner will also receive a note from the designer explaining the plan, inspirational images, and a detailed plant shopping list!

People's Choice Award Winner:

• Judging: the winner will be selected by you and your peers!
  • We will release a link to our public voting platform on May 22nd that you can share with your friends, family, and followers to encourage them to vote for you!
  • We will also share the link to our public voting platform with our audiences so current Studio Shed followers can vote for their favorite photo(s)!

• Prize: DIY Garden Bed Package from Tilly (value starting at $199+). This package designs a specific garden bed within a yard that is under 150 SF. The package includes the following:
• Video call - 15-minute video chat with your landscape designer to share your vision and goals.
• Planting plan - Scaled drawing of your garden bed with plant placement.
• Plant images - Images of each recommended plan to help interpret your design.
• Shopping list - Detailed list of all plants recommended to fulfill your project, including size, quantity, species, and common name.
• Installation Guide - Instructions to assist you with installation and maintenance practices.
